World No. The inaugural Simone Asia Pacific Cup, which will be held in Indonesia this week, features Lydia Ko as the World No. The LPGA is now open and a host of top players will be competing in the LET in Spain and the Ladies Asian Tour in Jakarta. Ko, 25, spoke about her nuptials in advance of the event.
An earlier report claimed that Ko had been engaged to Chung Jun. Jakarata, the former number one singer, confirmed that she was engaged to Chung Jun. Jakarata, the former No. 1 said that she had confirmed her engagement and that a wedding would not slow down her career.
Ko stated in a press release that “I don’t believe there will be any changes to my schedule.” “I am very grateful for my fiancee and my family, who have been so supportive. They want me to finish my career as well as they want it.
“As a person and a golfer, I am thankful. It gives me a lot of motivation to work hard while competing. I also enjoy my time off. My schedule will not change because I’m getting married. It’s going to stay the same.
The New Zealand Herald reports Chung is the son Chung Tae, vice chairman of Hyundai Card.

Ko will be joined by fellow major winners, Hyo Joo Kim and Hinako Shibuno. For $750,000, the 44-strong field will compete at the Pondok Indah Golf Course near Jakarta.
This event is part the new Ladies Asian Tour (LAT), which began in June with the DB Group 36th Korea Women’s Open. LAT Series plans to host seven tournaments in the Asia Pacific region by 2023. It also has plans to add 10 events in 2024. The Asian Golf Leaders Forum (AGLF) established the new tour.
Tiffany Chan, from Hong Kong, stated that “We haven’t really had the opportunity to play in Asia since turning professional.” Chan stated that everyone is trying to travel to the States, Europe, or another tour during Tuesday’s pre-tournament conference.
“I played a lot on both the China Tour and Taiwan LPGA, as well as every single Asian Tour event across all the countries. In Asia, we are seeing women’s golf grow.
