According to The Telegraph Mito Pereira, who was unable to win the PGA Championship last year due to a misguided tee shot on hole 72, will join the LIV Golf League for 2023. Pereira will be joining his Chilean friend Joaquin Niemann.
LIV Golf has been quiet ever since its inaugural season, which ended in Miami with a team title. However, sometimes good news is better than bad news. Rumours have it that several top-ranking executives, including Atul Khosla, Chief Operating Officer, have left LIV Golf.
LIV Golf has not yet released its 2023 schedule. However, it has added a few PGA Tour stops.
Pereira finished every weekend at the Shriners with a T-4 finish in three Tour starts this year. Pereira currently ranks 44th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
