Tiger Woods biography
While it’s true that the biography is ambitious and unauthorized, readers will benefit from the rich, layered story of Woods’ life. While the Woods camp and golf universe will fight the book, it is a worthwhile read and provides a better look at Woods’ illustrious career. As a golf fan, I’ve read many of Woods’ golf biographies, and have found them to be both enlightening and depressing.
Jack Nicklaus’s book
For the past few decades, Jack Nicklaus has been hailed as the greatest golfer in history. With over 50 courses designed around the world, he has gained a worldwide following. As the son of the legendary Jack Nicklaus, his first book, “The Game,” is an insightful look at his career. The book also covers his relationship with Augusta National Golf Club and the challenges of being a world-class golfer.
Ben Hogan’s book
If you’re into golf, you might want to read Ben Hogan’s book. Although the book predates the numerous instructional books available, it is one of the most influential in golf history. Published in 1957, the book has sold more than 1 million copies and has been reprinted several times. Although its release almost never materialized, the book has inspired many golfers to read it. The book reveals how Hogan’s life changed after a near-fatal car accident in 1949. Today, it’s one of the few golfers to have won all four major championships.
Harry Vardon’s book
During his career, Harry Vardon won 48 individual tournaments and 21 team events. He won the German Open in 1911 and the British PGA Matchplay Championship in 1912. Vardon played in 17 tournaments from 1898 to 1900 and won 14 and finished second in three. Vardon popularized the overlapping grip, a technique he learned from Johnny Laidlay. He also worked as an architect, creating courses at Woodhall Spa and Radcliffe-on-Trent.
Dr Bob Rotella’s book
